Put on your party clothes and come help us celebrate the opening of

A Wild Flight of the Imagination: the Story of the Golden Gate Bridge!

On this day in 1933, San Franciscans celebrated the ground breaking for the Bridge, a symbol of hope in a devastated economy.

Experience the story of the Bridge through our ambitious exhibition featuring rarely seen works of art, personal letters, photographs, and artifacts that bring to life the history of the Golden Gate and the vision and determination to span it.

Come kick up your heels to the sounds of the Frisky Frolics, get your photo with DecoBelles from the Art Deco Society of California, gather around the classic cars parked outside & toast to a California icon.
